Yes! These are "leaders" and as such they must set a standard of proper behavior. Even if it was a lie this was not the forum to air it..It was unclassy and an embarrassment to the nation..Bush and Cheney lied, people died, and who called them down? Even impeachment, for serious crimes, was taken off the table. "We" have a long way to go in order to regain some semblance of respect here, among our own, and in the world today..

Barbara...I agree. But I wish someone had called Bush and Cheney out before the mess they created. That was the time to breach protocol, not now.

Just to let you know, electronic, or e-petitions are not accepted in Congress. Petitions have to be paper and hand signed. e-petitions can be sent to individuals.

Tsandi...Thank you so much for this info. I have written to Bold Progressive about their petition to find out how they process them. I will also look into this for future petitions I offer.
